A stroke occurs every 40 seconds, and every 4 minutes someone dies of a stroke in the United States*. Many survivors will have permanent disabilities, and it is estimated that stroke associated costs amount to $34 billion annually in health care services, medication, and missed work. This webinar focuses on how having an efficient pre-hospital EMS system in place for patients with time-critical medical needs can dramatically improve a patient’s functional outcome.
